Changzhou Iron and Steel Works was established in 1958, which is the predecessor of Jiangsu ChangBao Steel Tube Limited Company. Not long after its establishment, Changzhou Iron and Steel Works had become a subsidiary company of Bao-Steel Group Inc. Through company reformation and leader reappointment, our company has been renamed as Jiangsu ChangBao Steel Tube Limited Company at the end of 2003. We are a large scale manufacturer of seamless steel tubes and pipes in Jiangsu Province, with a registered capital of USD36.5 million. Our company employs more than 1,000 personnel; including over 200 engineers and technicians. Currently equipped with two manufacturing lines for hot-rolled and cold-drawn seamless steel tubes and pipes, we have one production line for petroleum tubing / casing

The hot-rolled seamless steel tube production line is equipped with CPE technological mills imported from MDM Co., Germany. At present, this processing system can annually produce various seamless steel tubes and pipes for 150 thousand metric tons. These pipes are mainly used as tubing / casings for petroleum (upset and non-upset), couplings, steel tubes for high pressure boilers, precision tubes and line pipes. Since 1995, our company has engaged in export business. Up to now, the total volume of export sales of seamless steel tubes has reached up to 120,000MT. Our products sell well in America, Canada, Germany, Britain Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, the Middle East and other countries and regions in Europe and Southeast Asia. Main tube sizes are as follows: 1) Hot-rolled seamless steel tube: 25 - 114.3 (D) x 2.5 - 16.5 (WT)mm 2) Cold-drawn seamless steel tube: 6 - 89(D) x 1 - 10 (WT)mm 3) Plain end tubing and upset tubing without thread: 1.6 - 4.5in. 4) Non-upset and upset finish tubing: 2-3/8 - 4-1/2in. 5) Finished casing (process material supplied by clients): 4.5 - 5.5in. 6) Non-upset and upset coupling: 1.6 - 4.5in.
