is made up of three parts:ultrasonic sensors. microcomputer and display panel. The ultrasonic sensors transmit a "narrow beam" signal. When this signal strikes a solid target directly in the path of the host vehicle, it bounce back to the receiver(same sensors as transmitting). The signals are then sent to and processed by microcomputer and shown on the display. The distance between the obstacle and the car is calculated, and alarm in forms of digit, light and sound are given so that the driver may react in time according to what information the system provided. Thus accidents may be avoided.
